Welcome to Qoin. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your download and use of the Qoin mobile app for iOS and Android (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Qoin as a parent. Children may only use Qoin through a profile created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian on the parent's device.

2. On-Device Data

All family data you create in Qoin — including parent and child profiles, tasks, proofs, and rewards — is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to Qoin. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and backing up data if you wish to preserve it.

3. Parental Responsibility

Qoin is a financial education tool. Parents are solely responsible for assigning tasks, verifying their completion, and paying any real-money rewards to their children. Qoin does not hold, transfer, or process funds between family members.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse the App or attempt to access it through unauthorized means.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the App's operation.
• Do not use the App to harass, exploit, or endanger any child.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, billing cycles, renewals, and refunds are handled by the applicable store and governed by its terms. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your store account settings.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its content, branding, and software, is owned by Qoin or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the App (such as task proofs, notes, or feedback). Because this content is stored on your device, Qoin does not host, transmit, or display it. Content you voluntarily send to our support team is used only to respond to your request.

8. Third-Party Platforms

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and runs on iOS and Android. Your use of those platforms and any associated services is governed by their own terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the App or any claims related to it; however, they are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce these Terms against you.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Qoin does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. Educational content is for general informational purposes only and is not financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qoin and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the App.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which removes your on-device data. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or features within it, if you violate these Terms or if continued operation is no longer feasible.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and surface a notice within the App for material changes. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
